Am I right to think that Takeshi made 2 ju-on films in 2000 and called them ju-on 1 and 2? And then 3 years later made them again calling them ju-on 3 and 4? Cause I mean the story in the films are the same. right?

theres Ju-on Shiroi Rougo as well now.
So, counting Ju-on films (not including the American Grudge movies) there's now 5.

The half jaw girl is from Ju-On: The Curse.
The Grudge 3 was released on DVD last month.
Not that good, but better than The Grudge 2, which was trash imo.
Also there will be 2 new Ju-On movies released in Japan this year as well as a The Grudge videogame for WII (which Takashi Shimizu is also involved in).

I think a grudge 3 came out too no?, on the american side.
Does the half jaw girl appear anywhere else in the series, that's some serious creepiness.

Not exactly. The first Ju-On and second Ju-On 2 were made for TV movies. He then made 3 and 4 essentially as remakes. However, he mixed around the storylines, so 3 isn't exactly a reamake of 1, and so on. When he later made the American version (The Grudge), he took plotlines from the original as well as the 3rd and combined them for that remake. The Grudge 2 uses a new storyline all together. So all in all there are 6 films. 2 made for TV, 2 theatrical remakes\mashups, 1 American remake, and 1 American sequel.
Hope that helps.
