Something left unclear in the film is the fate of Tsuyoshi-kun (Kanna-chan's brother).
Was he killed or did he somehow escape the Curse?
Did they have a father? If so, what happened to him since I presume he lived in the house, also.
Who is the family the real estate agent is telling his sister about when they visit the house? Is it Tsuyoshi & Kanna's family or the Takeo's family (Kayako-san & Toshio-kun)?
