He's a prick and is also responsible for Shaver's death

Sgt. Charles Langley was the one giving the psychotic commands.
Sgt. Charles Langley was the senior officer on the scene.
Sgt. Charles Langley was the one that exacerbated the tension and created undue panic in all those involved.
Sgt. Charles Langley immediately retired from the force and fled to the Philippines.

Sgt. Charles Langley needs to face justice
A very important distinction. The cop who murdered Daniel Shaver was not the guy screaming insane orders. That was Sgt. Charles Langley, who’s psychotic escalation of the situation is even more to blame for Shaver’s death. He promptly retired 4 months later and left the country.

If this power tripping asshole was afraid Shaver was going for a gun, why didn't he go secure his weapon after he shot him? Instead he just left him there to bleed out. He knew he wasn't armed and just wanted to kill him

yeah, some cops let the power go the their heads. I have had a run in with an over arrogant pig before, i was nothing but polite and respectful and he was just snarky and talked down to me. ( I was innocent of any crime btw, just wrong place wrong time )

The cop had been investigated 4 times for using excessive force and they wait for him to kill someone to fire him. He had "You're Fucked" inscribed on his gun. He made that guy jump through hoops while he was crying and begging for his life

Yep, the jury got it wrong. I guess they said it wasn't murder because the cop kept telling him he was going to shoot him if he moved his hands like that again
