I'm preparing to go on a hunger strike to protest this dumb move by IMDB to destroy some of the most helpful and valuable message boards in all of internetdom.
I've given this a great deal of thought and truly believe that we the users of the IMDB message boards should make a stand not just for ourselves but for all those who follow us. That is why I will cease eating solid food come the 20th of February.
The statement that IMDB is making is that all the reasonable and rational users of the message boards are not as important as the trolls and spammers. God in heaven -there is an ignore button right there. Who is complaining? Who is so emotionally mortally wounded by trolls and spammers that they need to complain to have a thread deleted? All you have to do is press the ignore button. People!
Once these boards are gone they are gone forever It would a catastrophe to lose these boards. A disaster for humanity that would rival the burning of the Great Library of Alexandria. Please join me in making a sincere effort to stop this.
