Singer and his production team were coy about the movie, saying it to be connected to the Donner movies, but not really, that it kind of was a sequel to "Superman 2" but it wasn't, etc. I'm not exactly sure what your problem is, but there was no need to get pissy, mate - I was just pointing out facts.

There was NOTHING to suggest that at all. Unless you're thinking of this movie as a direct sequel to the original Donner movies (and early comics) where Superman had the amnesia-inducing kiss, there's no reason to believe that.
