I know I'm replying to an old post, but I re-watched this movie again tonight so I just have to say I completely agree with rruhl1981. If you've ever worked in retail/hospitality/customer service, you'll 100% empathise with all the servers, because this movie was spot on haha.

Maybe you're right. I shouldn't have watched this, honestly, I knew I wouldn't like it from the very first minutes.
Anyways, unlikable in a way that they are unlikable? I tried hard to find a single quality in most of the characters here, but most of the beep they did seemed to outdo whatever glimpse they've had of being human beings. They just seemed like terrible people, and I was disgusted by them. I know it's a comedy, but I couldn't laugh.

Define unlikable, I find this cast of characters very likeable and quite relatable. I suppose if you just watched the movie land have never served or worked in a restaurant they could seem like self indulgent selfish beep but the behaviors you see, outside of the tampering with the food, are exceptionally accurate to what restaurant work is really like.
