Sure not ALL black people are bad tippers, but a high enough percentage of them are where you can generally say that black people are sh*tty tippers.

Someone giving crappy service because they don't think they will get a tip are beep Why don't they bring that attitude to their employer who doesn't pay them a decent wage?
So just do your job and don't be an beep I worked in retail while being paid a little above minimum wage with zero tips. And I took care of even the biggest beep customer which primarily were soccer moms. These lazy asses should go work in congress where you can get a raise for sitting on your ass and doing nothing. I never seen people so damn arrogant that they think they should get a reward for doing their job and if someone doesn't give them a tip then they think its justified to do things to the food. Just do you job or get another one.
If someone pulls that crap just report them to the manager and never come back to the restaurant. I always tip servers and pizza delivery people.What pisses me off is the entitled attitude that these people think they deserve a tip.

Who knows. When I'm waiting my tables, I try to imagine what it's like to have my server roll their eyes and sigh before greeting me at me at the table. This is called empathy and it helps me put aside any pre-conceived notions about what kind of tip I get. I'm there to make sure my guests enjoy a pleasant meal. Worrying about each individual tip isn't part of my job. At the end of my shift, I know I'll end up with a fat wallet because I take pride in my work.

When I waited tables I did sometimes get stiffed by black folks, but I always did my best to give everybody the same good service regardless of skin color. I even got several black regulars who would come back and request me because I gave them "the best service they ever had" and they were generally mad good tippers. It was just because I treated them good & didn't immediately write them off like many of my coworkers would.

A black friend of mine at work says he will never tip because nobody ever tips him at his job (we don't work in customer service so there is no tipping). I said that we also don't really serve anyone but people are actually serving you and doing things for you when you are eating and he said that isn't his problem, it is the choice that person made to work there.
I was really hoping he would say he does tip and that it is just a bad stereotype but I guess not.

You're missing my point. There are many servers who give crap service to black patrons reguardless, yet expect a resonably charitable tip.

I've worked as a server for about 5 years now with no bias whatsoever in my service quality. I can't tell you right now that black people are the biggest risk of bad tips in my experience in multiple restaurants in multiple cities. This is not just me.
