Exactly, she left for the show "Drive", I remember some articles about it back then, luckily the show flopped and she recurred throughout the rest of the show 👍

She left for a show called "Drive" where she was one of the main characters with nathan fillion. The show was cancelled after 6 or 7 episodes but she always made guest appearances afterwards 😉

Rose was all about her relationship with Charlie. Rose had no purpose with Charlie gone. But Melanie was wonderful with Charlie. She had perfect comedic timing. I first saw her in Ever After with Drew Barrymore and didn't know she could be that funny, but I adored her as Rose.

As I recall, Melanie got a FT role on another show, so her Rose character's appearances were dialed back.
