It wasn't said how Wendy had no job, not even a job after school, but somehow she managed to move to New York. $$Expensive$$. That was strange, even though I'm sure people have done that in real life.
It would've made more sense if she was prostituting herself like Neil did, but that wasn't the case. Maybe generous parents helped her out.
Do I drink because my dreams don't come true, or don't my dreams come true because I drink?
