As a fan of Ken Burns films I thought I recognized the names of the characters in this show. They were some of the same men featured in The War by Ken Burns, a pretty decent and heartfelt documentary that stars like Kieth David & Tom Hanks also did some narration for. The War came out in 2007 so anyone who likes this might want to go back and give that a viewing as it has interviews with the real soldiers. How fascinating.
The critic has to educate the public; the artist has to educate the critic.
