<p dir="auto">Well it helps that it's not at all a biopic. It's a real person-centered drama.<br />
It offers but a glimpse of Truman Capote and I still prefer Infamous even though PSH was amazing.<br />

<p dir="auto">Yes. I would have loved to see a sequel with PSH showing the demise of Capote. He never wrote another book after "In Cold Blood", because it took so much out of him.  I think Hoffman would have been brilliant in that story as well.</p>

<p dir="auto">Why is Toby Jones' portrayal inferior? I thought it just as good. He didn't have the physical differences to overcome like Hoffman so there's that.</p>

<p dir="auto">Is it really a biopic though? It's just four years of the life of Capote hardly what I'd call a true biopic of the man. They may be the most interesting years but you learn nothing about the rest of his life before or after.</p>

<p dir="auto">I dont know about the best, but its definitely up there. Hoffman is absolutely terrificespecially when compared to Toby Joness inferior take on the author.</p>
