Movie played in the year 2505. The citizens were portrayed as people at the level of, maybe, 4 or 6 year old kids, plus being mainly uninterested besides of shallow entertainment.
But who built all the big TV flat screens and the TV broadcasting tech?
They also had ugly but eventually reliable electric cars.
And a working pre-selector machine for the dumb nurse at the clinic's emergency room. Works fine with the KISS principle, just push the symbol-buttons and the computer will send the patient to the correct room.
The automatic diagnose computer at the clinic seems also pretty advanced in technology. Three sensors in the right places will do all the work. Medicine, pharmaceutics is also needed.
Who builds all this stuff, maintains and repairs the tech?
Is there a secret brotherhood of the last intelligent people on Earth, keeping the society working? Hidden in some old university buildings, or in abandoned atomic bunkers, Crystal Palace, NORAD?
