I have some questions about the plot. For example:
When Dwight decided to pack the dead bodies in his car, he has no choice but to put Jackie Boy in the front seat because of lack of room. But since Jackie Boy is the one that they do not want being discovered the most, why put him in the front seat? Why not another one of them instead, and put Jackie Boy in the trunk? Wouldn't that have made more sense?
Also when Nancy says that the police would not let her testify, or check her out to see that she was still a virgin, why didn't she go to the media? If a girl around 9 years old, as I think she was, went to the media and said that the police are saying she was raped when she wasn't and they were framing her for it, and that she was still a virgin, wouldn't the media eat a story like that up with a spoon?

Neither are plot holes and I'm good at seeing them and hate them.
Dwight is clearly INSANE and wants the dead Jackie to speak to him. So, his behavior is irrational and makes no sense.
Dwight is crazy and everyone is crazy.
One of the themes in this story is that about as close as we can get to heroes are crazy people. Him and Marv are both near human monster type people who happen to be a little good.
Nancy:
film Noir is a communist story style that indicated that everyone involved in capitalist life, typically in cities, is a pervert. If a good person ends up there they will try to be good but get very defeated.
So, the people dealing with Nancy would kill anyone she tries to tell. If she tells the newsman he is probably being bribed by the elites anyway, and won't write the story, or just get people killed.
So, Nancy has no hope in a world like this. The only hope is her cop friend who has suffered massively for trying to be good.
That's the point of Film Noir.

You probably don't know who the screenwriter is. You probably don't care about movies at all. I really don't understand why most of the posters are here on filmboards. I guess they are really bored and have no lives either.

But I think that if she went beyond the city's media, so it got around to the whole country and not just the city. For example, if she went to CNN or Fox News or something like that, then it would go beyond the city.

The media there is probably as corrupt as the rest of society. The city doesn't become the way it is if the media was there reporting all of the crime taking place.

They showed them starting to cut up all of the other guys before they put them in and Jackie Boy was the only one who wasn't, so he had to go in the front.
