<p dir="auto">I really liked this movie, since I have heard about it for years!  But the ending really sucked!  Did Chris go crazy from the guilt!  Did he ever come clean to Chloe?  I also wonder if the police ever figured out he was the killer!</p>

<p dir="auto">No, no, and no. Chris moved on, he and Chloe started a family, and the police had closed the case.<br />
Woody Allen's point of view - evil people can prevail, the guilty go unpunished and often luck is the determining factor. Thus a correct and logical ending to this film.</p>
