<p dir="auto">It's like he wanted to redo the plot of his 1989 film minus the humor and with added youth and sex. If you see the earlier film you'll definitely find it better. This one is like some generic BBC crime drama, all surface, no substance.</p>

<p dir="auto">My thoughts exactly the first time I watched it. I'm really surprised by the fact that not a lot people have pointed that out. It's a good movie, buy Crimes &amp; Misdemeanorswhich is my favorite Allen movieis far way better.</p>

<p dir="auto">Well, part of it is similar to that film, yes, but there are some differences. For example, here the murder is committed by the actual guy who is having the affair, not some hitman. Also, the mistress this time is the former fiancee of the guy's brother-in-law. I still enjoyed this film.</p>
