<p dir="auto">It seemed like the judge got to like Jackie in the movie. Did this happen in real life? Sometimes during the trial you see the judge smile and I remember when he called him into his chambers to tell him about the death of his mother. When he was talking to him about his mother he seemed sympathetic and compassionate towards him.</p>

<p dir="auto">I just watched the real Jackie D on HBO on demand (expires 1/1) Mob stories his story starts at 0:23. the story in the movie was very close to the real guy, the judge seemed to like him</p>
