I watched this movie yesterday and then watched Anatomy of a Murder nearly right after I gotta say I think Vin Diesel could take Jimmy Stewart in a fight.

Anatomys quite wildly overrated. Find Me Guilty, on the other hand, was much sharper, wittier and more complex; its a remarkably intelligent, well constructed piece of work with some really strong acting - as characteristic to the vast majority of Lumets films. Hes always been considered a particularly strong actors director and here, too, he got an excellent performance out of this Diesel guy whom Id never seen before, but who apparently specializes in some kind of car racing movies. Anatomy 6/10 vs FMG 7,5/10.

I thought he was comparing because he wanted to talk about defense attorneys getting guilty men off. I hated Anatomy of a Murder for the ending alone. I hated the Jimmy Stewart got Ben Gazzara off.

In a fight, okay, but Jimmy Stewart could out act him in a heartbeat. Comparing this movie to Anatomy of a Murder is a joke. I'll take a Stewart film over a Diesel film every time!
