So like, according to this, Andy found the people in the mall at 10:49 A.M. on May 9th, 2004, meaning Kenneth, Anna, Michael, Andre and Luda arrived at the mall sometime before than in the morning of May 9th meaning the movie started out in the hospital sometime in the time frame of 5-8 P.M. on May 8th, 2004 Now, Andy's first video entry was on May 7th, at 6:19 A.M. that is 52.5 hours approximatley before he and the survivors in the mall met on the rooftops Also, in Andy's first entry, he say's he was attacked the night before, on May 6th now, that would be somewhere about 3 days and 12 hours, give or take before the neighborhood where Anna lived and was attacked by the undead Now, how could it possibly take 2 to 3 days for word of this to spread?
Any comments?

You'd be suprised. Different area might've been attacked beforehand. When anna is driving home from her long work shift at the hospital, you hear her turning past several radio stations already reporting violence. I'm guessing the problem wasn't really widespread until the morning after.
Andy could've been in a hick town where the beep hit the fan early.
