<p dir="auto">Yes, got it on DVD after seeing it advertised online when it was first released on the format a few years back. I'd never heard of it before but was drawn in what with it being adapted by 'Who stalwart Bob Holmes.<br />
All in all it's pretty good really. There's not much in the way of<br />
action<br />
(just in case anyone reads the premise and assumes it's a 'thrill a minute'!) but Holmes' suspenseful script builds the tension well and I suppose it's moderately scary at times. It even boasts Reg Hollis from The Bill (well the actor who portrayed him at least) no less!<br />
On a more negative note though the submarine 'prop' doesn't remotely convince as a viable, sea-worthy advanced vehicle it must be said but that's a minor gripe and the general atmosphere, cast, acting et al are all generally decent.<br />
Overall recommended but it's no classic.</p>
