I'm sure I recalled an episode where for some reason all the 'has-beens' like Les Dennis, Keith Chegwin etc were trying to make some kind of comeback and were got together by someone (Andy?) for some kind of variety show in a pub to try and launch their careers again.
On a recent re-watch of the series it wasn't there. Did I miss one or am I thinking of another show entirely with my fuzzy memory?

yeah, think that was Life's Too Short, which was a Gervais/Merchant show a few years ago with Warwick Davis and Les Dennis and Cheggers (and Barry from Eastenders!). It was a bit hit and miss and they didn't make many.
