<p dir="auto">Gervais' The Office was so smartly written and slowly developed characters and story to what seemed a natural, believable conclusion.<br />
Extras was just a celebrity jizz fest interspersed with humiliating set ups you could see coming. Scenes like mckellen shouting "get me the Vaseline" whilst gervais had his trousers round his ankles would not have been out of place in when the whistle blows.</p>
