<p dir="auto">..is the 2014 German movie "Der Bau" (titled at some USA film festivals as "Kafka's The Burrow"} adapted from an unfinished 1923 story by Franz Kafka.  It has a similar deteriorating high-rise tower at its center, but the life of the main character is much more interesting.  This movie does not have the budget or stars of High-Rise, but while still "wild and crazy" in places is less a product of a director too full of himself.  The ending is also much more satisfying.  Worth a look.</p>
