Alice, knowing she had been bitten, must have known she had been infected. Since she was angry at Don for leaving her, did she intentionally not warn Don before he kissed her? Something about the way she looked at him and the way she said "I love you" seemed to suggest this, as if it was a sort of good bye.

Yes. I presume she assumed because she was "infected" that Don wouldn't attack her. Bit her in the ass, didn't it!

I agree, wife didn't know she was going to infect husband. The doctors hadn't told her yet (if they were even going to, before the General shoots her!).
As for why the infected didn't do to here what her husband did These monsters apparently just want to kill, however that happens, whether punching, biting, or even using a weapon (like Don did on poor Scarlet), usually after they hurl on them, ha. Obviously sometimes they let up or get distracted and don't finish the job, or the victim manages to get away till they change themselves, 40 seconds later.
Scary stuff!

She didnt know she was infected. From her point of view, she wasnt acting like an infected, and she hadn't been bitten in months, so she thought she was safe. I dunno if she wanted to kiss him, but she was so in shock, that she probably didnt even think of the fact she might be a carrier or that the virus could transfer through saliva.
My question iswhy didnt the infected that were orginally in the room with her do the same as her husband did to her?

I thought so at first, but come to think of it, did she even know she was infected? Even if she had been bitten, I don't know if she had the medical knowledge to realise she was immune but essentially a carrier, and that anyone she came into too close contact with would develop the Rage.

I first viewing I thought so. On second viewing I don't think so. She wouldn't be thinking about infection/carrier. She wasn't a medical person. Only then when he was visiting did the doctor reveal her blood and saliva held the virus and she could infect. When he kissed her she passed it on. The seeming numbness of her looking at him was the basic shellshock. It took a while for her to become afraid and realize that he was infected and about to kill her.

From reading the FAQ it's speculated that Alice survived because the Infected identified her scent as being alike to their own and so they didn't attack her. It's possible that she thought Don would be the same and didn't realize her mistake until the last couple of seconds.
I think you might be correct. That would explain why her look went from a smirk to one of horror.

All plausible reasons for that not being the case aside (read the above comments), why would she even think of infecting him while tied and locked in the same room as him? Surely they are better ways of getting revenge without exposing oneself to be eaten/beaten/mauled to death.

There was no intentionality on her part, at least not the way the screenplay is written. Remember how she was unable to answer the simplest questions posed to her by the chief medical officer? She is presented as totally shell-shocked, mentally numb, and traumatized. She says "I love you" to her husband not to entrap him but because the sight of him starts to awaken her basic memories of who she is and what their relationship had been.
It's only in the mind of the viewer that one reasons, "He got his just deserts," for deserting her. If anything, he was the one who was aware that she was infected, and he kisses her out of guilt to bring about his own destruction. Poetic justice is served, though without the wife being a purposeful femme fatal.

Actually he was unaware that she was infected. The results of Alice's blood test were given out approximately at the same time Dan visited Alice, so Dan couldn't be informed in time that his wife was infected. In my view, it looked like she infected him on purpose, although it's very difficult to say. On one hand, Alice didn't show any emotions after Dan was infected, and also it is shown that she drops a bloody tear after the kiss. But on the other hand, after he turns very agressive, she seemed to become shocked and scared.
