There is a script called
28 Hours Later,
completed and visible online.
I know this is true, I wrote it myself!
The story is a prequel to "28 Days Later" as well as a follow-up to its first scene, inside the lab. It shows what happens as the virus breaks out, when '28 Days' jumps four weeks. And it's supposed to end 28 hours after the outbreak, as the Royal Family is evacuated.
Enjoy, don't hesitate to share your thoughts!
DNA Films, the London production company that owns the rights of the franchise, already knows about this script. I submitted it to them in 2015, unsuccessfully - they didn't even have an eye on it.

Many thanks.
This script is not my first, I have another one on the site (simplyscripts) and I have several others. If you check my name on amazon you will see some other stuff.
It's among every writer's hope to have one's big break. I guess it's much harder for writers than for others (actors, directors, etc.) because they have so much less opportunity of representation.
Hey, good luck with your projects! I hope you're enjoying this one, if you are going through it.

There's nothing like the passion of writing a story that you really believe in and want to see made into a film. I did the same thing when I really, really wanted to know what happened after the airport scene in 12 Monkeys (1995), so I wrote three fan fiction sequels.
Yes, it's hard to get the rights-holders to pay attention to such a thing. But, the experience did finally compel me to write my own stories soon thereafter, something I'd never contemplated before.
I don't know what else you've written, but from a quick scan of your script content and formatting I imagine you probably are writing your own stuff. Best of luck with that, and don't let any disappointment you feel about the marketing results of 28 Hours Later get you down.
As I said above, if it was the first thing you wrote (as my 12 Monkeys sequels were for me), there's no better passion project to keep you going through all the trials and tribulations of getting your feet wet in this biz. By the time I wrote my own, first story, I sure knew all about formatting, etc. and already had plenty of business contacts.
I only wish at least one of my own stories has come out as good as the source of my personal passion project, but given time maybe it'll happen - and even get something made into a film someday.
You too, I hope!
