Scott Lang is a ginger in the comics! They couldn't find one red-headed actor suitable for the role (Damian Lewis, anyone?) He's a brunette! So sick of PC Hollywood forcing diversity on us to be accepting of brunette men!
For real though, Paul Rudd looks nothing like Scott Lang. But really, the truth is no one really cares about Scott Lang/Ant-Man, because he's a generic hero. You LITERALLY could interchange Paul Rudd with most other 30 or 40-something actor and it would've worked. When casting Batman/Bruce Wayne, studios are much more careful to find the right person for that role - not too many people can play Bruce Wayne. Paul Rudd certainly couldn't. But Ant-Man, nobody cares about him so let's just throw Paul Rudd into the role. He is such a generic casting lol.
