You know when you're watching a movie, and there is one big part of the plot which doesn't make sense and you just can't get past this is what happened to me watching Disturbia. From the moment he saw that the car matched the description the police put out for the murderer, he should have reported it to the police. The police wouldn't be angry or like "lol you are just a paranoid kid under house arrest" (as so many movies like us to think), they would have to take notice. But I can understand maybe he thought his evidence wasn't solid enough yet, but that doesn't explain why when they saw the blood and body bag, they STILL DIDN'T PHONE THE POLICE! FOR REAL? The first thing I'd do is pick up the phone and dial 911, not get my binoculars out and have a closer look.
