How about Lynn Denlon attaching the heart rate monitor to herself? If done quickly enough, it might not trick the sensor.
Of course, first, she would have to "take care" of the other people around, which shouldn't be impossible, one of them dared her and gave her a weapon, and the other is in no capacity to fight for his life.

It might have been possible to kill Amanda and quickly attach the heart rate to herself. This would leave her stuck standing at that spot in hopes that someone will find her. She would also have to hope that the person that is doing the test wouldn't cause her harm after.
She didn't know who was doing the test, or if there was anyone else there that might be watching. Also Amanda states that Jigsaw might rip off the monitors if he found out Amanda was killed. Lynn probably wouldn't be willing to take a chance.
Although at first I thought about doing the same thing.

Well done, a great observation! And I don't use the word great lightly, for a villain (or hero, dependent on perspective) like Jigsaw who "thinks of everything" , you found a clever and plausible way to outsmart him. Even with the insight you've provided, I still wouldn't want to be in that situation to find out!
