Which movies can you think of that had the biggest difference in rating compared with the MPAA?
I'm a Swede and the two examples I can come up with are:
The 40 Year Old Virgin: Rated R in the US, Rated BTL in Sweden. Which mean ANYBODY can see it. If a fetus walked in to the cinema, it would be allowed to see it(although there would be other concerns with a walking fetus). This case is a bit extreme though, usually this kind of comedies gets an 11 in Sweden.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom(goes for Raiders as well): Rated PG in the US, Rated 15(the highest rating) in Sweden.
Although I think the Indy movies would have been 11 today, since Crystal Skulls got an 11 and Quantum of Solace as well. Although some PG13movies gets a higher rating in Sweden, like TDK and Casino Royale, which got the highest rating(15).

Jim Jarmusch's Broken Flowers
Rated R in the US
No age restriction in Germany whatsoever
There is a shot of full frontal female nudity (in a non sexual situation) in the movie. No-go in the US over here, nobody cares. There are "worse" things to see in grade school biology books

PG-13 is a recommendation and nothing more.
G: We don't care.
PG: We suggest you bring an adult with you.
PG-13: We strongly suggest you bring an adult with you.

PG13 means that you have to be over 13 yrs old to see it by yourself but anyone can see it with an adult present.
R means means you have to be over 17 to see it by yourself but anyone can see it with an adult present.
Blt is a Swedish rating which means Barntillten; in English it means literally Child Allowed, basically anyone can see it.
