Is the mother schizophrenic too? I can't work it out.
What does the grandmother believe? Was her grandmother into talking with a bunch of computer mice (notice how she talked to mice, but they buried a computer mouse with her ashes) and the main character kinda assimilated her grandmother's beliefs Why did the grandmother only eat radishes? Was that the reason she was taken away?
