It IS sad, but it's hard to feel bad for him because he was so arrogant and gleefully negligent. But he was an extremely troubled guy.

It is very sad because he really didn't have to die.

it's obvious that the movie's message at the end went totally over ur head. this movie does not portray Supertramp as a folk hero. the ending, his downfall, due to his own failings, dying out there alone, and that he realised too late what happiness really is about, the movie made it quite clear to get that message across.
sorry u wasted ur time on a movie u couldn't quite grasp in the end. try sth less challenging next time.

I just finished the first episode of She-Hulk. This was the first thing on Pluto I saw when turned the app on. This guy was insanely arrogant… and stupid. There's nothing cool or romantic about what he did and this movie and this movie wants to portray him like some kind of folk hero.
I'm glad they tore that bus down. This guy doesn't deserve a memorial.
