Mine was without a doubt the Ice Truck Killer. Dexter was totally intrigued by him. Trinity was a close second and finally, LaGuerta (I know she wasn't their kind of villain, but). Lila was an annoyance, Still haven't decided about the religious guy, Travis

Trinity for sure. Lithgow was awesome and sadistic. The way he would make the moms jump to their deaths was just F&$ked up. Every episode of that season just filled me with dread watching and waiting for him do his thing.

he was dexter's brother, stalked him and tried to get him to kill deb. he was also the hardest for dexter to kill because of their history. season 1 of dexter was an awesome introduction to my favorite tv show and biney was a big part of the thrill ride.

John Lithgow was absolutely chilling on here. Im re-watching the Thanksgiving episode now and when he called his wife a beep I got chills. Its like you know how horrible a person he is, but when he says that in front of a 'guest' you know how truly evil he is.

The Trinity Killer. John Lithgow was absolutely brilliant in that role, and the ending to "Hello, Dexter Morgan" is probably the best scene in the entire series. Riveting.
Additionally, the worst villain on the show was either the Skinner or the Brain Surgeon. The Skinner was a bland and underdeveloped character who was not the least bit intimidating. And the Brain Surgeon was just pure garbage.

That huge reveal at the end of S1 was the biggest part of why I kept watching season after season. It even got me through S3, which is probably one of the most boring things I've ever watched.

Although I must give honorable mentions to Lila, Hannah McKay, The Doomsday Killer, and Jordan Chase Jordan is probably a very close second because the things him and his cohorts did to those girls was sadistic in every way. Trinity never put his victims thru THAT kinda torture before killing them but he gets the vote as my favorite anyway because of how great John Lithgow was in the role
