This has turned into one of my favorite popcorn movies of all time. Y'all on these threads, bitchin' about TC's height
Well, my ONE major complaint about this movie:
"Charlie" played by Jai Courtney
does not suffer nearly enough before he dies
.
There. I've said it.

I wrote this on another thread: it appears that the millions of fans of the books are disappointed in the casting of TC as Reacher, but for the
billions
of people who haven't read the books, TC is just fine as Reacher. Unless you just don't like TC.
As much of a fan as I am of this movie, I've stayed away from the follow-up because of lukewarm reviews and negative comparisons to the first film. Does this mean the franchise is finished?

Tom Cruise is beep Not about height but the rawness of the character. I would've liked to watch someone like Tom Hardy do something interesting with Reacher.

That works better for me.
Thanks, I'll check out the book.

"Charlie" played by Jai Courtney does not suffer nearly enough before he dies.
The book was less action-packed, but bloodier. If I remember correctly, Reacher sneaks into Zec's base of operations, cuts throats of two men and Charlie first gets beaten up and thrown out a window, then blasted with a shotgun (my recollection, don't hold it 100% correct).
Fighting a religious war is like fighting over whose imaginary friend is better.
