this guy looks like a bully in high school, and he's supposed to be a brilliant ad man and published writer. he looks like he'd be that person's son, and a middle-child at that. he remains on the show longer than Kinsey, who is far more interesting (before turning him into a left wing cliche). he must have been close friends with someone, because he's not interesting and no one really cares for him. sure, there will be people defending him here, but no one comes forward beforehand to say he provided anything to the series.
