I really like this show, and I am currently rewatching it for a second time. It just hit me that we might never see a show like this again because it's "boring"? What do you think? I thought that drama from season one of The Affair gave me a similar feeling that I haven't had in a long time: the stripped down drama with realistic (I know, not 100%, but somewhat at least?) characters with realistic feelings. Personally I feel fed up with Game of Thrones and superhero-shows on Netflix.
Do you know if there is something good in the making or maybe something I've missed?

I liked it a lot upon first viewing and binged watched it. I thought how it progressed and escalated was fascinating but not in the way, say, Criminal Minds is, which (first 7 seasons) were completely fascinating. This was a bird's eye view of what goes on inside therapy sessions.
I just wished they'd given us Season 4.
And I'm with you, we need more shows like this. So many need 'help' that don't reach out for it, so can have 'aha' moments like with Criminal Minds which can be, believe it or not, very helpful.
