I'd have to rank it up there with the first time I seen The Matrix, I wasn't expecting much and was rather lukewarm about going to see it, but my god it blew me away! I'd a similar experience with The Matrix. Other honorable mentions would be Gladiator and The Dark Knight. What about you guys?

I've had great experiences watching Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (my very first ever movie theater date), Cabin Fever (lol, my high school friends and I had a blast with that one), Star Wars: The Clone Wars (if only because my ex and I spent half of it making out), Hellboy, Yu-Gi-Oh: The Movie (rofl), Harry Potter: The Half Blood Prince, TMNT, The Adventures of Tintin, Monsters vs Aliens, The Hunger Games, The Avengers, probably others I have missed.

Not even close, mine would probably be Revenge of the Sith (yes, I love the prequels :P) because of my anticipation leading up to it or The Amazing Spider-Man for being a great movie (imo). Runner-up is TDK trilogy triple feature.

If you pay attention at every moment, you form a new relationship to time. In some magical way, by slowing down, you become more efficient, productive, and energetic, focusing without distraction directly on the task in front of you. Not only do you become immersed in the moment, you become that moment.

Both times I saw this the cinema was pretty empty (lunchtime opening day and then the following saturday), so it wasnt really as much of an experience as it sounds like some of you had.
For me, the first time I saw TDK wins by a mile. It was my first time seeing a feature film in 70mm IMAX, and it was just mesmerising.
