The Matrix could even make three coherent films. Marvel has delivered 13 great films. That's way beyond original. That's writing the book on smart entertainment.

No one is really comparing Avengers to the Matrix because The Matrix is at least three levels below Avengers. There is no comparison. Matrix was a one hit novelty that if released today would be another American Ultra type movie. It would be forgotten by the third week in release. Avengers is the cornerstone of the greatest active film franchise that's going to run decades and is still cutting edge. What's to compare?

Wow! Are people genuinly comparing The Avengers to The Matrix??? The Matrix basically redefined science fiction and actually had an original story. I can't say that about The Avengers. The most generic movie I've ever seen, in every possible way.
