Part of the New French Extremity Movement, one of my favourites, and one of the best horror movies ever made, if you ask me…French, visceral, and brutal as ****, starring only 2 women (a couple of other small parts but it's basically just these two). Béatrice Dalle is ****ing PHENOMENAL in this.
AVOID THE REMAKE AT ALL COSTS, seriously. Just trash that ****. it took everything that made this amazing and sucked the life out of it. the remake is a complete waste of time. COMPLETE. I can't stress this enough. Just watch the original.
