The first time I saw it, I was very skeptical, because it wasn't anything new, but the way it was done, it was so good, I always though there was something special about this film, maybe it was the soundtrack, or the performance, maybe the amount of blood, the storyline, etc. By the end of the movie, I was already teared up, I could not believe what I just saw, I was very worried that this film would have gotten a 4.0 or bellow, because I know alot of Coughs Americans Coughs would not be able to pass this down, & I was also worried that it was have been criticized for the ending.
I find myself having an addiction to this movie, its like the more I watch it, The more I love it, I even saw this when I was having one of the worst days of my life, & INSIDE made me cry,but ugh,I cant figure out why I love this film so much, seriously, why is this movie so good?

Yeah, it probably has its (debatable) plot flaws but then the narrative is so well done it keeps you tense all the time that you overlooked some (nitpicky imho) things. Kudos to the filmmakers for that!

It's literally just the intensity, I'm telling you. This movie is an adrenaline pill. The movie has plenty of faults, really, but the intensity I'm not sure if I've seen a movie come close.

You know how the simplest of dishes can be either great or terrible? Like spaghetti with meatballs. Sometimes the pasta is overcooked, the sauce is bland and the meatballs are tough. But sometimes the pasta is perfectly al dente, the sauce is beautifully composed and seasoned and the meatballs are delicate yet fulfilling.
I think that this is ultimately a simple film, but everything about it is done to perfection. All the ingredients came together to create a powerful experience that fans of horror can appreciate. There is not a false note in any performance. The film isn't filled with fluff and flash. It tells a story and does it perfectly.
I am shocked to see Bustillo and Maury have no other credits here. The directing ability on display here is
par excellence
, and I expected it to come from seasoned director(s). I cannot wait to see Livide.
