You're absolutely right! A lot of casual movie goers are too lazy to read the subtitles, so Murica finds A quick way to make A cheap buck. I went to the new Martyrs page, to give my disgruntled review, when I came across the "Inside" remake. Not often am I just totally let down twice in one day, but it sure enough happened.. I have A terrible feeling they're not going to stay true to the script, and somehow Sarah is going to come out on top.

Sh-t, I didn't realize they had already remade Martyrs.
It's truly to soon to be redoing this movie in particular. Hell, it still shocks even after I've seen it a number of times. I miss the days when the only things that got remade were slightly obscure and/or outdated genre flicks. Not modern classics that are being 'Muricanized because some folks can't bear the thought of reading subtitles.

Smh. I just read about it as well. They already completely butchered my favorite French extreme film "Martyrs", now the USA is heading to wreck my second favorite.. Sometimes movies just need to be left alone..
