Sousuke's mother is hardly unique when it comes to movies, particularly Hollywood movies.
At least here they preempt her ability to escape a major threat with 'skillful' driving. Unlike Hollywood, which only pulls outrageous stunts from ordinary drivers when it's called for.
Like how in Taken 2, Liam Neeson's movie daughter - who is a P-plater - manages to outdrive several villains across narrow streets.
Or any number of movies where ordinary Joes become incredible stunt-drivers when the situations calls for it.
