So yeahback to the topic here, I didn't really know what to make of this scene. Though to be perfectly honest I didn't know what to make of most of the film. I was wondering why the mother let that happen though

It's like that 12 year old that ACCIDENTALY shot his 4 year old sister, or the 8 year old that ACCIDENTALY stabbed his father because he was mad at him.

It's hard to censor yourself in real life when crazy stuff happens, the word slips out, IT HAPPENS. It's not like that child isn't going to learn that word later on in life, from either other adults or kids at school so accidentally swearing infront of said child will hardly make it so they grow up to swearing-alcoholic-murderous-belligerent-coke-snorting-binge-drinking-degenerate-thugs.
