Have you noticed that in many "horror flicks", the "monsters" are sometimes the least scary things of all? People, when they're in a collective, become a mob. Okay, finished my re-watch. It was good. And the scary thing wasn't so much the creepy monsters attacking the people holed up in the supermarket, it was the divisiveness and polarization of the people trapped therein. There were parts that called for a Rodney King "Can't we all just get along?" speech, lol. The ending is still pretty moving.

I really like Mike Flanagan, but I'm not enthused about this or his announced Carrie series. Both were done perfectly the first time. Plenty of King novels to choose from that weren't or that have never been adapted at all.
