<p dir="auto">I noticed that they both share the same quirky mannerisms. Also, both characters interacted with children in one episode. On GG, during a rehearsal for a play that Kirk was in, he and the children sat on the stage Indian-style while listening to the drama director. On TBBT, Sheldon sat with a little girl in the kiddy section of a bookstore, asking what she was reading. Although, I suppose that's not the same concept as on GG, since Sheldon thought it was socially acceptable to hang out with children, due to his condition. Kirk, however, was just a kid at heart and felt like he was supposed to take orders from the director if she says, "Kids, sit down."<br />
Since TBBT premiered a few months after GG ended, this is questionable.</p>
