didnt fit the show perfect analysis. she just wasn't the right character, personality for the show. thought she tore the show down right after she first appeared on it. so you can say this is when the show jumped the shark.
did you have the same problem i did with the fact that she was such a big tv star from blossom which made it wrong to be on this show that was already totally developed before she was on it?
hypothetically if she had always been on it and always a love interest for sheldon then maybe it would have been ok, it would have worked.
heck i always had a problem with the other girl, the blonde love interest for the jewish guy suddenly being on the show even. so this goes to show you never mess with cast chemistry on a show that is already established.
so this is not just me having a problem with a big tv star like the blossom star being on this show suddenly it has to do with putting a character on a show that you didn't have before.
oh also her voice is intolerably annoying her super high pitched grating voice.

I think you already got it. She didn't fit the show, she wasn't funny, she was very annoying and she made Sheldon less funny. I guess it was inevitable Sheldon got a girlfriend but why did it have to be her?

exactly i felt the show really went downhill when sheldon got a girlfriend.
the same kind of thing or a similar thing happened on married…with children around 1995 when they decided to put this annoying little kid boy on the show called seven and also when they replaced buck the dog with an annoying cocker spaniel.
amy is a bad character was a bad fit on this show. i dont know i guess it messed with the chemistry of the characters
maybe its just that i didnt like seeing the girl from blossom on this show bc this show didnt have big stars on it ever before this as main characters. but also its wrong how sheldon has a girlfriend bc you dont want to see sheldon with a girlfriend.

Until the girlfriend for Sheldon showed up, it was a great show. I eventually gave up on it with her on the show.

After a while, I thought the IMDb Big Bang Theory board was better than the show!
