1. Kevin Sussman (Stuart) used to work at a comic book store. James Michael Tyler (Gunther) used to be a barista.
2. Excluding the main cast members, Kevin and James appeared in the most episodes of their respective series, therefore outweighing every actor/actress in the closing credits of each episode.
3. Stuart and Gunther are both the underdog – lonely, forgotten, and not welcome by their inner circles.
   With the exception of #3, that is surreal for a sitcom that's somewhat of a carbon copy of the other.
