The women-having-sex-with-their-bras-on thing bothers me, too. Not just because I like looking at boobsalthough I dobut it seems so jarring and unreal. Granted there may be a minority of guys with a lingerie fetish who might like it, and probably there are times when couples are so hot-and-bothered and eager to shtup they start at it while only partially undressed; but in my experience guys love boobs, and will try to get the bra off first before everything. It seemed particularly annoying in this movie, which seemed to want to deal frankly with sex and seemed okay with nudity, but then held back with bras-on sex scenes.
It's also odd when the actresses otherwise don't seem to have a problem with nudity (such as Sharon Stone) have bras-on sex in movies. (See SLIVER.) I understood why we saw it on the show SEX AND THE CITY, because Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't do on-screen nudity (although oddly, Cynthia Nixon who was topless in one of the early episodes but in later seasons only would have sex with her bra onhad an almost shockingly explicit, full-frontal-naked sex scene in the movie version). Very strange.

Keep in mind that we're talking about Hollywood here. There are exceptions, but more often than not, the notable absence of an actress's "naughty bits" in an R-rated film is a matter of money not morality.

I was also so disappionted it she didn't show them. If she's already shown them before then why didn't she just show them again? I really don't understand that at all.

I was sorely disappointed, too, that she didn't reveal them. But as seeing she has already shown them before in another movie, it makes sense they just couldn't afford to pay her to show them in this flick.

I don't know her name and I didn't recognize her in the movie, but I know exactly who you're talking about. It really stuck out painfully. Maybe they could afford her, but not her tits.
