Uh, yeah. I quit sleeping so Freddy Krueger won't kill me too. I'm too tired to go anywhere, but if I did travel I'm sure I would get tortured and killed by a rich guy as I learned from Hostel. I'll probably fall victim to a poltergeist at some point, but at least I don't think that will torture and kill me.

I dont know what kind of planes you used, but ive never once been groped by airport security. Perhaps you should not look like some druggie smuggler if you dont want to be groped?

Trains (and ships) are much more civilized.

I think some parents probably have talked to their kids. Would make sense being I have a general recollection of that being the case with other movies.

Sure, its the same people who wont' ride buses because of speed, fly commercial because of various hijacking movies, won't go to banks because they get robbed all the time in movies, won't go to amusement parks because they attract fleeing bad guys like flies, won't drive on the highway because bad guys are always getting chased by the coppers on them, and wont'take cruises because of Speed 2 or 3, etc

paranoid people, perhaps. Those folks probably don't stay at hotels because they saw Psycho, or go on boat rides because they saw Titanic, or go outside their homes at all because they saw Outbreak.
