Yeah, I think action and superhero movies are the easiest so long is there's a big budget. They seem to be the genres which do big box office despite poor critical reception.

Easily horror. Comedy takes the right actors to be successful. It's much harder to pull off than a cheap horror flick.

There's only like 1 or 2 good animated movies every year. But either way most animated films get get good reviews, even when they aren't really praise worthy. Most noticeably Pixar films.

I wasn't meaning BO results, i was meaning quality, to me it seems action has the most easiness considering you just need decent action scenes, the plot matters little, on other genres plot matters more.

Ehhhh I would say comedy or modern horror. Modern horror is just buckets of blood and shock factor.
Nah, there's plenty of bad comedies and something the humor is just annoying like on Deadpool.
Modern horror is quite bashed, the so called torture porn genre(ugh i hate that name) is quite bashed, the Saw franchise suceeded cause it has some plot, people widely bash Hostel and many others, shock horror is not a thing and many expressed disgust at it, Martyrs is polarizing(many praise it, many hate it), the rest is hated and despised(Cannibal Holocaust, Serbian Film), plus the thing now is psychological horror movies specially the ghost ones.
Making good and creative action scenes is hard. People like Michael Bay have just turned action movies into CGI explosions and a bunch of crap.
Technically he didn't, everyone jumped on the CGI thing cause it's easier, the action genre was also fond of explosions much before, plus CGI has been quite used on horror too and people bash the hell out of it when it's bad(cough Wrong Turn franchise cough).
