Yeah I was generally curious at how it wasn't abuse. I'm not using this as a form of attacking anybody. I am looking at this as a completely isolated event, you are the one assuming I am. You were being sarcastic in a such a way to make fun of conservatives, you were on the offensive.

Is that really your reply? There is a difference between spanking and being tough with your child, and borderline ABUSE. My parents were really hard with me, and maybe sometimes it could have been "abuse," but they never made me think I was being kicked out and pubically shamed me (as a child).
The kid was in ELEMENTARY school. If this was a high school I wouldn't care, but this is just a kid. This isn't a shaming on Facebook done by the parents to a 16 year old. This was way worse and done to a younger child.
