I believe the ones against Bill Clinton and I know it's generalizing, hence my preface. In my experience, the people most vehemently in support of Bill's accusers are the same ones who immediately dismiss every other accusation out there.

How come (from what I've experienced, at least) every other rape victim in history was just regretful, or gold-digging, or evil-out-to-get-an-innocent-man whore, except, conveniently, the ones who've accused Bill Clinton?

I've honestly never seen anyone say this (though I'm not a Republican and f-ck the party run by racists and homophobes so I guess that makes it f-ck both parties). That said, I could just as easily flip your question and ask why Democrats believe every rape accusation EXCEPT the ones against Bill Clinton. Which would also be stupid, generalizing, and not true (there are people out there like that, but it's certainly not all Democrats) This is just an all around dumb question
Anyways, my stance on rape cases is I think all of them should be treated seriously and looked into for further evidence regardless of how unlikely they seem. That said, I do think circumstances make some more believable than others (I'm more inclined to believe thsoe targeted at Bill because they've been around for a long period of time. I'm less inclined to believe Lena Dunham's because she refused to cooperate with the police to catch the guy in any way, shape, or form)

I don't deny they exist, I just think that it's kind of disingenuous to imply that most women are like that. High end estimates of false rape claims are around 10 percent, and if you take into account that an estimated half of them aren't reported in the first place, that number is effectively cut in half.

Some people are just CRAZY. There is no other explanation.they either think it is an act of revenge or they just want attention. I KNEW people like this while I was in college. They exist.

See I've heard this plenty and have never understood why people feel this way. What would anyone gain putting themselves and the accused through the legal processes that go along with this kind of thing over simple regret? It makes no sense.

I dismiss a lot of them in college because I have seen girls flat out lie about those types of things. Then you have drunken hookups when you are both hammered, and you wake up just hoping she doesn't "regret" the night before. At what point is it the girls fault for being drunk and going along with things (assuming the guy is drunk too)?

Well how do you prove it? Most cases you can't. It becomes a he said/she said. Anyone can accuse anyone, and unfortuntely the people who do bring up false allegations ruin it for the true victims.

I mean obviously not entirely, the world isn't black and white, which is why I prefaced with "in my experience," but from what I've seen, it's mostly them that I can see who eschew the extremely low number of rape cases that are proven false (and that's only counting the ones that end in accusations, not the huge number that are never reported).

Are you assuming that only republicans claim there are a lot of false rape claims?
